But think how the offense this year would have been without Smitty

So, when is the last time that a team on the D1 level won 22 games with a five-gaurd lineup? If you remove any of our main 4, we run into problems. I can't imagine winning any big games this year without Seth, Jesse, Anthony, or Kyle in the lineup

That's exactly what I'm thinking. I might have to say co-MVPs like in the all-star game, Smitty and Jesse

Nothing against Smitty, but we had him against ODU, and tonight against VMI. The offense doesn't work without Sanders.

I disagree with this statement and the past three games have reaffirmed it for me.

Jesse is the best point guard we have. No doubt about that. However, James is capable of running the offense from a dribbling, setting people up point of view. He's not nearly as good, but he's definitely serviceable.

What Jesse adds that we took for granted the ENTIRE season is someone who will take the open shot or go in for a lay-in instead of passing the ball every time he drove to the basket. That is what opened the shots for the other guys. All it takes is one other player knocking down a few shots and the big three start getting more open looks. Without Jesse, we didn't have that consistently.

But we havent had a good example of Smitty sitting out, we all saw that senior leadership at High Point
