Roads in decent shape coming into campus this morning. Parking lots are in better shape, too.

I have a confession to make, I've never put my wipers up and have never blown a fuse.

I laughed when I walked outside Monday and Tuesday morning and FFG's wipers were up.

all because of FF and its faithful members who helped me learn to do that. if it weren't for you guys.... my wipers might have been frozen to the windshield for at least a day if not more.

Why would yours have been frozen when my car was parked a few feet away and were fine?

I have never done the whipers thing either...If its icy I always head out 10-15 minutes before I leave warm the car up and by the time I leave everything is unfrozen anyways

Exactly.

Then I scrape the ice away from around where they were.

With a spatula.

Yeah, I use the cover of my Owners Manual to scrape the windshield. Never even need to use wipers in that situation.

I use my dog to wipe the snow off the windshield.

Then I scratch my head and use the dandruff as salt to melt the ice on my windshield.

NO NEED FOR WIPERS!

Looks like winter weather is moving in on Friday...

...Does anyone remember last year this same thing happened...we had a beautiful spring break here but right when the kids came back it was cold again...I always laugh b/c they are prob saying "this is why I hate Lynchburg, this cold weather and I why I went back home"

Haha, I never went home on Spring Break. My destinations:
Freshman year: Rhode Island/Boston (Missions trip)
Sophomore year: Myrtle Beach (Missions trip)
Junior year: Phoenix, AZ (Missions trip)
Senior year: Birmingham, AL and various points in between (Tennis)
1st Year Grad School: Port St. Lucie, FL (Tennis)
2nd Year Grad School: Hilton Head Island, SC (Tennis)

Anyway, now I definitely do not want to come back to Lynchburg if its going to be snow and ice.
