No problem. It took me about 15 minutes to get this thread set up. I wish we had G-W fans to chat with the next couple of days. AdrianB is a football only guy.

It's going to be a fun game, hopefully this time we'll remember how to inbound the ball properly against Gardner-Webb.

whmatthews brings up a point that we have to reiterate every year ... students have to buy tickets to tourney games. It doesn't cost much and is well worth the price of admission. It is just like hitting a road game except Tuesday night you won't have to travel far at all.

I'm predicting a comfortable (but not huge) victory in this one.

This is going to be a tough game. G-W almost beat Liberty in Lynchburg. They led most of the game. This tournament is going to be wild I think. We could have all the seeds hold up or none in the 1st round. VMI has a tough one matchup wise too. WU and Asheville are both capable of beating RU too. Despite RU's record, the teams they have in their bracket are capable of beating them. I am excited about this game though after the way the team played yesterday. I am really pumped about the way James Spencer played yesterday. Solid!

i agree SCAR. this league is just way too tough to think that this will be an easy win. i think the only 1st round game that is a lock is RU, but the other top three seeds could easily lose. let's hope our guys come out and play hard. GO FLAMES!

The fact that senior night for the top 3 teams was ruined says a lot. VMI, Liberty and Radford all lost their last home game.

pretty sure tickets are only 3 bucks for students. less then last year, i think they were 5 last year.

I'm watching Florida/Tennessee right now and the fans on the left of the arena are all wearing orange and the right side is all wearing blue. Incredible! I saw something this cool in person last year when I went to see IU play Michigan State and they had a stripe out. Pretty cool looking. Our attendance in the Vines has been spectacular this season especially since Christmas. I think our guys and the athletic department deserve to be applauded for getting folks interested in the program. I know it is too late to coordinate something like this for Tuesday but I am really hoping for a packed house again on Tuesday.

SCAR i bet that was awesome to see in person i remember watching that game on TV. The stripe out did look awsome, i don't florida's looks as good because the stripes are wider. but its still a neat looking idea

I am looking forward to this game. I feel guilty for not really giving them a chance at Radford last night... I guess that shows me  Anyways, I think the boys will really rise to the occasion this tournament and we have an awesome future ahead of us.

No joke- that ball better be going in the hole rather than into a Bulldogs' hand!!!!!

Wondering if we should rest Jesse against G-W and save him for the semi finals and finals.

Don't even talk like that. We have a game to play on Tuesday, and if we lose, we're done. We would be saving Jesse for a full offseason.

If it is really borderline whether he can play effectively, I could see not starting him, and if the other guys step up like they did last night, he could stay on the bench, but if things aren't going well and it looks like we need him in there, then have him give it a go and see what happens.

but then you risk losing momentum...and in games like these sometimes giving the team more confidence makes the difference...we need our best players out there...

I feel that would be the best thing to do
