If a coach screwed up people would criticize him for it. If an NBA player screws up, people criticize him for it. When you work a job like that, it comes with the territory.

That's a good point Jon. It still just makes me uncomfortable. I think the difference is coaches and players at that level make so much money and usually have millions waiting for them in their next gig. Like when a coach gets fired and they pay him millions to buy out his contract. Officials missing pay checks usually hits them where it hurts. Some of those guys are doing pretty well too but still, in this economy I would hate to put someone outta work over a basketball game. Just my 2 cents. Carry on.

people in this thread have called him an "ogre", and other things, I just found a picture to describe him....... He made a terrible call. That said I understand your point, I also make money by getting yelled at wearing the stripes, and on a personel level I would never wish this man anything but the best He obviosly is doin something right to be where he is . But as far as a NCAA divsion I ref, He could use a good tounge lashing.

SO BRUCE, YOU CAUSED US A CONFRENCE GAME AND OUR FIRST HOME LOSS OF THE SEASON, GET A BETTER ANGLE!

edited, incase Bruce actually reads this, he might be a counseler at a camp I am goin to this summer. and hes a big dude.

We talk about college coaches all the time and they don't always make millions.
