Abington is Always safe as long as officer Syd Scarborough is on duty. He comes armed even at the dinner table. Have you had a chance to meet my brother yet btw? Looks like me with glasses, not quite as handsome, 9 years older. Can't miss him. He hasn't started shaving his head yet though...I am "working" from home today but I am back in Richmond. The drive was not safe. We don't have 4 inches of snow though. Medic I had plenty of filler time last night, I should have remembered to say hello. I'll try to remember on Sat.

They're all pretty much "must wins" in the sense of league play & standings, & this one was expected, but then, very well done. After all, anything can happen this year in the BS. It seems to me that we have the talent to win it all, since there is no-one that we cannot beat on a given day/night.

I have been listening to other teams' streams the last couple of games, and they have said many good things about the Flames. Last night, the guy was marvelling (wondering) about how we could have lost 4 games in league - and they are wowed by Seth. With the pre-season POY & the All-World Freshman, (& Kyle popping his 3's) it makes sense that we are right in the mix, even without the domination inside.

The win, and the manner of the win - was significant.

Don't feel bad, SCAR. You may be shrinking, but knowing Ohman, he was probably standing on his tip toes during the interview. And he did call you "sir" a lot: he must be very respectful toward his elders. :oldhag

Out of respect for you, I'll blame it on the camera angle.

By the way, is Jesse one of the better passers that we've had at LU? Some of his assists and passes were incredible... at least to me. I will preface that by saying that I've seen a lot of LU's home games this year, but the last time I was regularly attending was back in the pre-Hankinson era.

Re: shrinking.

My knees were so bad that I became bowlegged.... and shortened; then had total knee replacement in both, & I gained my height back. ACL's now both removed, cannot run, jump, or lift too many lbs, but I am back to original height.

Our bones do "shrink" I guess. Where is PA on this one?

Anyway, SCAR's dunking days are undoubtedly over, & he'll probably get even shorter. How old are you, SCAR?

I cannot recall a Freshman guard at LU who showed Jesse's court awareness and passing skill. Perhaps most impressive is his assist/turnover ratio of over 2.3/1. Heady stuff for an 18 year old kid who is best known for his hustle.

Shrinkage is in part due to the fact that our spinal discs between the vertebrae tend to lose size as we age.

Thanks Medic. My knees are 57. The mind is 12. The actual age? 41.

had to miss the game, but i DVR'd and was really impressed by the guys but i had to laugh at SCAR'S comment after brolin's dunk at the beginning of the game:

"oh my goodness, clean up on aisle 23"

nicely done SCAR!

That play at the end of the game when we were being respectful and running the clock down and Nick Barbour from HPU stole the bal from Spencer and went and layed it in showed absolutely no class. It was definitely out of line. If I was the HPU coach that kid would get an earful and probably sit the next game. But Bart Lundy probably didn't even care.

Not that this really matters anyways because we crushed them. But if one of our players did that, I'm sure Ritchie would be all over him!
Just for the record....Lundy wasn't happy with the play either. He was already angry and appeared to almost lose it when that happened. I'm no fan of Lundy's, but I'll give him credit for this one. Everyone agrees that this was a classless act.

Bart is a good guy. No one will argue that. I was glad that he got mad on that play. It happened right in front of us and it wasn't a wise decision by Barbour but he won't do it again. I gained some respect for Bart after last night to tell the truth. They have some talent and are young like Liberty but not as far advanced as our freshmen.
