Good shooters should continue shooting no matter what their percentage on the night is.

Continue to shoot, yes - if they have the open shot. However, if your shot isn't falling, I think you look to get the ball to the other guys that are hot and then have the game come to you instead of forcing shots.

Good shooters should continue shooting no matter what their percentage on the night is. It becomes a problem if he's shooting us OUT of the game. However, it's never been that bad with Ohman.

We don't have enough scorers to limit Ohman. If he's got a shot, he needs to take it.

Ohman is most def. our best option outside of those two.

However, Ohman is barely at 40% from inside the arc. Which tells me if he's not shooting from beyond the arc--give it back and run your cuts. Get in a position where you can get a catch and shoot. Kyle is a spot-up shooter and nothing more offensively.

If you're a shooter, you have to have a short memory...and I believe Kyle does.

I said maybe...I dont think he's better then Borlin or Jesse...but I dont think he's head and shoulders better then either one...I think on any given night it could be any one of those 3 outside of our big 2...but more nights then not KO will shoot better then them

Dear Kyle,

Thank you. From the bottom of my not so healthy from watching all these games, thank you. We would not have won tonight if it had not been for you. When you play like that, you're one of my favorite players. I'm serious. You played like the kid trying to earn a scholarship. You did the little things. You let the game come to you. If it takes me posting things about you before every game then I will be more than happy to think of things for each game. Hopefully that's not what it takes though.

1. There was no reason for you to yell at Jesse like you did in the 2nd half...NEVER show up your teammate like that on the court

2. I'm so thankful you did not get a T when you blocked that guys shot (after the play) there is no reason to taunt anyone like that during key points in the game.

3. Still not sure why down 5 we're trying to draw the foul with 45 seconds left...hit your shot play D and we'll get it back

I try to stay out of player threads...but I REALLY LIKE how Kyle hustles. He leaves it out there giving it his all. As a fan...that is the #1 thing I look for. He does not take time off. Yes...he may break into KO mode...but I am a fan of his hustle.

I thought he played great last night. I thought his fantastic layup near the end of OT (I think that's when it was) was gonna be the game winner.

I thought Kyle was great last night also. He didn't show Jesse up. Jesse missed his assignment on defense which led to a layup and foul. Kyle was telling him what he did wrong, and what he was supposed to be doing. I didn't think he forced anything, and he had a lot of hustle plays. We don't keep it as close as we did without him.

We wouldnt have been in that game without KO...but he did force that last shot that he airballed trying to draw a foul with over 45 seconds left....we could have gotten a good look and the ball back

Liberty junior guard Kyle Ohman has been named the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for games played Jan. 26 - Feb. 1, as announced by the league office.
Ohman’s accolade gives Liberty a strangle hold on the weekly award for the past three weeks, marking the first time a school has won three straight Big South Player of the Week honors since Liberty accomplished the feat during the 1995-96 season. Peter Aluma won the first two awards during the run, while Marcus White followed up with one of his own, finishing off the trio of honors. Ohman’s award follows Anthony Smith’s honor on Jan. 26, while Seth Curry earned his second nod this season as player of the week on Jan. 19.
