Faxed? No way, this sucker will be signed for so the receipt can be scanned and posted on here!

Whatever, just get it out the door or this whole thing will be up for the most disappointing thread of 2009.

I called down to get the direct address of the committee that's hiring...I told her "thank you" she said "NO!!! THANK YOU!!!" that makes me think there isnt much interest in this job...

ok, that's funny. Let's see, they just had a coach leave them to go back to high school coaching which is where they got him. So where do they go from there? Pop-Warner coaches? Flag football coach? I think BJ's looking pretty good right now.

They may make him do play by play from the sidelines...which I think he could do...however they wont have the money to power the station tower so he'll have to be on a stationary bike generating electricity to send out the signal...that may be a little to demanding, but if anyone could BJ can

BJ...now that things have settled down in your life...can we get the full story as to how you misplace something on 4 wheels?

Details as if you were doing play by play would be much appreciated and enhance the dialogue

FYI Application is sent (I should have tracking info here soon) also this has happened:

Dear Benjamin,
Thank you for applying online with the MLB and its Teams Employment Site. If you have applied for a posted position (not future notification) and have not heard back from a representative from the team within 30 days after the job expired, they are most likely considering other applicants. However, you are always welcome to come back and reapply for other openings as they become available. Make sure you have filled out all the information so that we can notify you when we are looking for candidates for new positions.

In order to ensure that your information is accurate and saved for hiring managers to access, please go to http://baseballjobs.teamworkonline.com and click "edit your information" and follow the instructions. While there, you can upload your resume and/or complete, edit, modify, or delete your record.

Please make sure you complete your application thoroughly as each job may require responses to specific questions. You will only have one opportunity to answer posted questions.

From time to time we will be "cleaning the database," and before doing so, we will send an email to your contact email address to make sure that you wish to retain a record in the database. We encourage you to update and/or modify your record every 90 days.

We are equal opportunity employers.

Sincerely,

MLB Teams

Well Beej, it looks like you didn’t get your resume in there on time (great job HoMO). I think you should go for the Heritage High job now.

You don't read anything that doesn't have the words "band", "broadcasting" or "free candy" in it, do you? Check the thread two spots down, dude.

As it turns out I didnt misplace it.

See I have a good friend of mine who occasionally asks me to borrow my car to take care of some errands because he doesnt have one. I dont have a problem with it as long as he is very careful with it and makes sure to take care of gas. He had borrowed it to take care of some errands Saturday afternoon but when he tried to reach me my phone was dead. Anyway he straightened it out with me later after he brought my car back.

There aren't words to describe this.

a) Did you not remember giving him your keys?
b) Did he not bring the keys back when they were done?
c) If you couldn't find your car, and were in your room, why didn't you charge your phone?
d) You let people borrow your car without asking?

1. I didnt give him my keys. I gave him a copy of the key to my car a couple years ago so that if he needed to use my car to run some errands all he would have to do is call and ask if he can use it and if Im not using it (or planning to say for work or something), he can find my car and do what he needs to do. I have a very high level of trust in him because we have known each other for so long (being in marching band together the last three seasons).

2. Because I gave him a copy of the key to my car he doesnt have to keep bringing it back to me.

3. Because I the wall charger I had in my room did not work so I was planning on going out and getting a new one.

4. Oh HECK NO! The major rule that I have is that he absolutely has to call me and ask before using my car, and on this particular occasion my phone happened to be dead when he did ask. The only person other than myself who ever drives my car is my regular mechanic and that is only when I take it to him to fix something (He'll drive the car around to make sure after he's worked on it that the problem he was asked to check on is taken care of). Suffice to say, with the exception of these two cases nobody uses my car (and even before this I still wouldnt have let anybody else borrow it because the two people mentioned have developed a lot of trust with me)

The one person you have to RETAIN on the current HHS staff is their Athletic Trainer. Tucker is awesome at his job and with the kids.
