Liberty Basketball has owned the state of Va. We were one shot away from beating VCU the first game of the season and JMU was closer than the score suggests. between the guys and girls we are 4-2 against Va schools. if i'm not mistaken.

and I agree with SJ...Jamie is very good in my opinion and when JE decides to retire I think Jamie will be perfect to step in...but thats for another thread I suppose

Jamie is a very solid play by play guy. he doesn't have JEs voice or personality, but he is on top of the game. IMHO he is out of his element when he does commentary with Ray Jones on the TV broadcasts.
Tournament MVP Megan Frazee drilled the game-winning shot from just inside the three-point arc with 51 seconds remaining in the Hokie Hardwood Classic championship contest, Tuesday evening at Cassell Coliseum. Her last-minute heroics lifted Liberty to a hard-fought 45-43 win over host Virginia Tech, giving the Lady Flames the tournament title and their first-ever win over the Hokies.
