You and me both. It seems like they stop playng when the Pro Bowl votes are counted. They are becoming the Raiders part II. Is Art Shell available to coach? Will Michael Vick be our quarterback? We'll find out as the Cowboys turn.

Gotta love the Cowboys collapsing in December. And the miracle that needed to happen happened for the Eagles today, bring on Minnesota.

Who could be worse.....the Cowboys or the Broncos??? I doubt either team could fight thier way out of a wet paper sack. At least now I can enjoy the playoffs without my worthless Broncos bogging me down.

At least the Broncos were not predicted by EVERYBODY to be in the Super Bowl this year. To see the Cowboys and Belicheck not in the playoffs this year puts a warm glow in my heart....

Everytime I think of Romo in December ....

:rofl

The mighty Pokes finish one game better than the mediocre Texans (who incidentally are looking to draft a big RB in the 3rd or 4th Round).

As a Redskins fan, I couldn't be happier unless the Skins were actually going to the playoffs. T.O. is cancer and Romo can't come through when it counts.

If a certain #23 is playing on Sundays at Reliant next year, then I'll be cashing in some frequent flier miles and going to a game with Sly. :)

Went to the Jets Dolphins game

And Favre is sooooooo bad.
Mangini is now gone

Anyone see the KR where the Miami guy stepped out on the 1 the came back and kneeled for a touchback?

I saw that, but the entire ball never crossed the goal line so it is still a legal touchback.

You guys are such drama queens. Oh poor you. Half of the teams in the NFL are playing a game only because its on the schedule in week 17. Your team was playing to get into the playoffs. Excuse me while I shed a tear for a team above .500

I'm gonna have to agree with Dukes here. Luconn if you watched the game i watched, you'd understand the reason for this thread. I'm in no way a cowboys fan. I love the Falcons. who are in the playoffs. But after watching that game last night I'd say about half the teams under .500 could have beat the crap out of Dallas last night. It was that bad. Romo is a choke. and by choke i mean he's good but can only play well when he's not under pressure. He isn't a leader on the field from the looks of it and that team is full of self absorbed players who don't know how to play like a team, and don't understand what a team mentality is. Wade phillips has no Idea how to discipline players and Jerry jones only cares about his money. Thats just my two cents.

Wade Phillips is a terrible head coach, no player will listen to him, he has no authority over his team as Romo demonstrated last night when he screamed at the punt team to get off the field on 4th down. You could see Phillips say to himself, "you can't do that." Well he did, and you had no control over it. I love seeing shots of Jerry Jones up in his box. His disappointed face. The Cowboys need a new coach, they're not winning a playoff game with Philips.

They need a new coach, GM and Owner.

This sounds familiar. I think that is exactly what would remedy the Redskins.

Its what the falcons did. Its worked out pretty well. getting people in high positions who care more about how the franchise is run and what kind of character standing the people who run it have than the money they are making from the franchise. Its not about Me me me its about Us us us.

when you have an owner and nobody around the country knows that owners name, I think that is a good thing...owners that need there hand in on everything normally fail...which is why teams like Dallas, Washington and Oakland will not win anything until they get a new ownership group OR the ownership decides to hire real football people and let them actually do their jobs

Jerry Jones has a successful franchise. It makes money. More than any other team in the league, there are fans in every state that claim the Cowboys as their own. Their season was a disappointment because only a Super Bowl ring defines a Cowboys season as successful. The Cowboys are to football what the Yankees are to baseball. You love them or hate them. Jerry Jones is to an NFL franchise what Mark Cuban is to the Dallas Mavericks. Jerry Jones is a business person and he knows football. He is the owner and if he wants to have his hands in it, it's his money, good for him. Don't be a hater. If you don't like it, go make your first billion, buy a franchise, and stick your hands in your own pockets. That will probably make you feel better about it.

Disclaimer: I do not like the Cowboys and I'm not a fan of Jerry Jones. I'm a Titans fan as an extension to that other team that used to be in Texas (the Oilers). I also root for the team that is playing the Cowboys.

I see what you're saying...Jerry Jones has had success and the Cowboys are the Cowboys...but every year that goes by that the Cowboys aren't in the Super Bowl Jerry Jones gets more and more involved trying to make big splashes with free agents that are known to be trouble and making other questionable moves and doing much more harm to his franchise then good...the best years were the Jimmy Johnson years and that is because Johnson was one of the few that could stand up to Jones...or so it seemed...
