anybody here read his books? pretty awesome stuff, like modern-day Tom Clancy with real world events and a strong Christian foundation mixed in.

oh, and he just happened to predict 9-11 before it happened...and the invasion of Iraq...and Arafat's death.

not really, although I am attempting to. I want to pick up "the virgin suicides" after seeing the stupendous movie.

Yeah, I've read his stuff. He's written five novels, 'The Last Jihad', 'The Last Days', 'The Ezekiel Option', 'The Copper Scroll' and 'Dead Heat'.

Rosenberg got better as a writer as the series continued, but that's not to say that the first books aren't a good read. The first few pages of 'Last Jihad' are among the most gripping prose I've ever read.

By the way... Speaking of 'prophecy'...

In 'The Ezekiel Option', The United Nations votes on a resolution demanding Israel stop its nuclear program (much like the real-life UN has done with Iraq and Iran), or face a military response. And, at a time when Israel needs its ally to act as a leader in the international community, the President of the United States votes... ...present.

I certainly hope that one doesn't come true.

quite honestly, if you've read Dead Heat yet (i won't dare spoil it for you), i hope NONE of it comes true, for our sake.

I've read the first two and am just starting The Ezekiel Option. The comparison to Clancy is spot on. If you like Clancy, you will like Roseburg.
