My TV was getting some crazy lines in it...the wife had just given me permission to buy a new Plasma, then I changed the cables from the DTV box to the TV...and...no more wavy lines. No new TV...
Change the cables back.

Craftsman tools - dont know how to use them but hopefully they have a fuse replacer function

And my diploma got framed which was nice, b/c if it was up to me it would stay in a folder

I gave the gift of financial freedom to all of my family  8) I gave them the audio books of Rich dad poor dad, Cashflow quadrant, 7 habits of highly effective people, and a few other books

Congrats proto that's good stuff
I'm guessing those didn't cost too much...

Of course not, that would have been a liability not an asset 8) but I'm not sure you have much room since you DID ask me for the same thing!
this is true. i was just making sure you were keeping up with your assets and liabilities :)

I realize this is winding way :offtopic ...

... but it was the original Rich Dad, Poor Dad that my wife and I used as a tool getting our finances in order back early in our marriage. I don't agree with much of what he writes as it often comes across more as pop psychology than economics. But it certainly puts you in a proper mindset and paved the way for Dave Ramsey's success. Now his column in Entrepreneur magazine is nearly worthless. He never gives any real nuggets.

I apologize again and send you all back to our previously scheduled discussion.

I like how the cop and the fireman got appliances designed simply to further our bluecollar lifestyles while the rest of you decadant heathens live high on the hog.

Stay safe brother!

BTW: the AP ran some photos of that crash which included your quarters, I believe. Or, at least one of them.

Thanks PA! That would have been a heck of a way to get a new firehouse! The plane was really close to it. Clap on! Clap off!

I DONT WEAR PAJAMA PANTS WTF. i take them upstairs and open a drawer and count like 10 pairs of these things....some even have tags on them....my parents, my wife, her parents, her sister....all of them are guilty....looking at the price tag i'm like DO YOU KNOW WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN BOUGHT WITH THIS!!@#$!%~%~#%

i told my wife i'm giving them all to goodwill....the ones she bought me this year are even too small..."i figured but they were too cute"....
