Today, High of 75 degrees

Tomorrow, High of 21 degrees

Are you kidding me?

Edit - This is Oklahoma weather and does not directly affect Central Virginia. There must be a Global Warming conference in Tulsa tomorrow.

It was 68 when I stepped outside a few minutes ago to check on my dogs. The overnight low is supposed to dip down to 62. The front must not be pushing far enough south to hit us until Tuesday when we will have a high in the Low 50s. But it is back in the 80s by Thursday. Anybody want to play 18? 8)

It is weather like that which results in Oklahoma just being "OK."

What do you use to cut the hole? Auger or Chainsaw?

It's the same way everywhere. Our high is 61 today and they're issuing Winter Weather Warnings for this evening and tomorrow; no wonder we're always sick.

just a 5" . it is faster. i can go through about a foot of ice in about 20 seconds.

i will cut about 10 holes at a spot before i even fish and then drop the vexilar into each hole looking for fish. after i kill a hole i look for new fish or where the other ones moved.

My point was not the temperature, it was the change in day to day highs. With wind chill, the current temperature is 2 degrees. I'll admit that I can't handle (or don't want to handle) cold temperatures. I have a counter on my desktop and I only have 54 days, 4 hours, 2 minutes and 40 seconds until I will spend a month in sunny Cancun, Mexico. :woohoo

Yeah, it's 22 here, ice on the ground, wind blowing hard... it hurt going outside.

I just got back to Lynchburg from Florida... where it was 70 and sunny and when I walked out of the airport it was 36... I almost turned right around and got back on a plane and never came back. I hate hate hate the cold.

So are you saying that you like the cold weather, like in Denver? I'm confused b/c I'm pretty sure Denver isn't east of the Mississippi... :dontgetit

You are exactly right. The colder it gets is an indication of global warming.
Mother Nature, of course, is oblivious to the federal government's machinations. Ironically, 2008 is on pace to be a slightly cooler year in a steadily rising temperature trend line. While skeptics are already using it as evidence of some kind of cooling trend, it actually illustrates how fast the world is warming.

I read this on Drudge yesterday. The article is deserving of its own thread.
