Bethel's Lee commits to Liberty

HAMPTON` - Bethel's Tre Lee, the third-leading scorer on Bethel's state runner-up basketball team last winter, has given a verbal commitment to Liberty University.

Bruins coach Craig Brehon said the 6-foot-4 Lee visited the Lynchburg campus on Saturday and plans to sign with the Flames in the spring.

I've gotten a couple of PMs from people with the same idea as me. Since I'm "anonomous" and they aren't I'll be the one to post it. Keep in mind this is not based on any inside information and is pure speculation. It just makes sense to me.

We have a scholarship which has produced 10 minutes of playing time in the last 2 years.

It is only the beginning of the season and McMasters is hurt and hasn't had the time yet to prove himself.

Honestly, I am a huge Tyler Baker fan, but if he is not able to play this season and prove that he is worth his scholly, then... I can't believe I'm about to say this, but... (breathe in... breathe out....) Give it to someone else!

With that being said I think he will play in the Anderson game and then slowly become a big part of our team and maybe even make his way into the starting lineup.

Baker... McMasters will probably redshirt. But who knows. I think it would be smart if he did.

Actually I don't think Baker will start because Coach will not start him over Kyle. But he will probably see a lot of time. We could use his size if he gets healthy... But that's the problem!

I'm not sure. I have heard that he might be back. But I have also heard that he will redshirt. I don't really know who to believe. But I think it would make sense for him to redshirt because I don't think he hasn played in enough games to lose his redshirt this year.

coolhandluke and I talked to his dad at the Clemson game and he said he meets with a trainer a couple times a day and is trying his hardest to get healthy quickly but I agree I think it might be good if he redshirted....but it is McKay's call and he knows what he is doing

The next time we see Carter on the floor we will know he is not redshirting. He has appeared in 5 games, and 6 would put him over 20%, which is the max allowed.

One of the only sources I have lol who is very close to Carter told me last night that Carter told him he will in fact be red shirting
