Except for the National Championship game or a particular team you root for, do you have any desire to watch any of these bowl games? This may be the least exciting series of games since the inception of the BCS.

to be perfectly honest, I haven't had a desire to watch even the BCS title game in 3 or 4 years...its just a joke to me

I had to actually look at the list of BCS games. Here they are with my picks. I'll probably only watch the Rose, Fiesta and Championship game. I might even miss those if my kids want to play Connect 4 or Scrabble.

January 1 Rose Bowl Penn State vs. USC (my pick – PSU)
January 1 Orange Bowl Virginia Tech vs. Cincinnati (my pick – VT)
January 2 Sugar Bowl Utah vs. Alabama (my pick – Bama)
January 5 Fiesta Bowl Texas vs. Ohio State (my pick – the Horns)
January 8 Championship Oklahoma vs. Florida (my pick – Boomer Sooner)

I have to admit that I did not realize there are now 34 bowl games. Whatever happened to New Year’s Day being a bowl bonanza. There are only 5 games on January 1st. If your team is not playing in a bowl game, they suck.

Rose Bowl: USC
Orange Bowl: VT (They really need to play up though...Cincy is a surprisingly dangerous team offensively)
Sugar Bowl: Utah (I think that this wont end up like Hawaii-Georgia last year)
Fiesta Bowl: Texas (Texas is just too good right now and they are going to take their frustration about being screwed out of the NC game on the Buckeyes)
FedEx National Championship: Oklahoma 38-27

Rose Bowl: USC overpowers Penn St.
Fiesta Bowl: After getting hammered by teams in the "defensive" SEC, Ohio State is going to get blown out of the water by Texas.
Orange Bowl: Cincy by a few, just b/c VT will choke again
Sugar Bowl: Alabama destroys Utah
Title Game: Finally facing some defense, Oklahoma falls to Florida in a close contest

Rose Bowl: USC (amazing defense will stop PSU)
Orange Bowl: Cincinnati (don't sleep on them)
Sugar Bowl: Utah (call me crazy all you want....you heard it hear)
Fiesta Bowl: Texas (one word....Colt)
Championship: Florida (I'm not a Tebow fan but he is going to throttle the Sooners)

I'd be interested to know not so much why you aren't a fan of Tim Tebow, but why you would make a point of saying so in this forum. To say that it is a minority view here is probably an understatement.

I agree - the games are weak this year. The championship game will be great, but beyond that - not impressed. I wish they would have paired Alabama vs. Texas / Boise State (who got ripped) vs. USC. / Texas Tech vs. Utah.

Why did Boise get ripped? Other than the Oregon Ducks, their non conference schedule was horrible.

Kliff Kingsbury

Image

Stats: 1,231 of 1,883 passes for 12,429 yards and 95 touchdowns and 40 interceptions

B.J. Symons

Image

Stats: 5,833 yards passing....and 52 TD passes

Graham Harrell

Image

Stats: 15,429 yards and 130 TD passes

As far as those three go Grahams stats speak for themselves

Graham played significantly more games and none of the others had Crabtree. But my point is that the system creates the numbers.

I understand that none of them had Crabtree but they did have good receivers and it is not fair to compare Harrell to Symons since he only played his senior season. Im just saying just because the system is good doesn't make him one of the best if not the best quarterback in the NCAA....lol im sry for hijacking this thread

so because he has better stats that means he's not a product of the system? where's the logic in that?

Quoted for truth. Crabtree would be a far better Heisman candidate than Harrell and neither of them are as good as any of the three guys invited to the show.
