The most successful program on Liberty Mountain deserves its own forum. We give Coach Green and the Lady Flames their props while breaking down their run to the Big Dance once again.

Your women are up 23-13 midway through the first half. Stunning.

28-all now. The fact that LU is playing this well with no Megan Frazee or McLeod is astounding. Amber Mays is trying to win this by herself.

Auburn 46, Liberty 41 -- 9:08 left. LU's running out of gas, and Auburn's playing a pretty nifty zone that LU can't crack offensively.

59-51 Auburn, 59.8 seconds left. Good effort, but just not enough gas at the end.

I was very impressed by our team today. When you have a 1:2 player:street clothes ration and can hand with an SEC team of this caliber, they have nothing to be ashamed of. It was ironic that the Tigers more or less played our game. THey did not press but backed into a zone. Which was also a good idea b/c we couldn't shoot our way out of a paper bag, and they were trying to negate our height. I was looking for them to put more pressure on the ball, but obviously what they did worked. To play the "what if" game it would have been nice to see a healthy (or at least say 80%) healthy team. The girls played together and played well. Good job ladies!
