So glad to see W&M put to bed. I never understood their claim any way. 7 wins against teams with a combined total of 30 wins. Sure they have a tougher SOS but aren't they supposed to win some of those big games? They recorded 1 win against a winning team and feel that they can push for a berth over LU! We need to be reminded that losing to a good team doesn't make a very prestigious claim. I'm not saying that Liberty is far superior, but I am saying that W&M isn't either. The fact is W&M finished under .600 for the year and I take offense that SOME still feel superior to a very good Liberty squad.

Once you actually look at who W and M beat, you'll see they didn't beat a good team aside from UNH, and our wins against Elon, SBU, and CSU combine to be better than their 3 top wins.

Interesting to note that they are opening their dorms and dining hall on Saturday. That should encourage a lot of their students to come back early for their home game. IF we are playing at JMU...it sure would be nice if someone planted the bug into our chancellor's ear that opening our dorms and dining on Saturday might encourage our students to come back early and get to the game.

I can understand...JMU is in....they are just waiting to see who they play. LU would not want Flame Club members to be there just in case LU does not get in. Not fair to the kids to have to be there with all the public and see their disappointment.
