fan00, thanks for YOUR 2 cents. i'm FINE with people disagreeing with ME if they have a good reason, but don't come on here and say that all i want to do is justify booing and make up excuses for it. that is putting words in my mouth that i never said or thought.

1. i don't need anyone's approval, trust me if i wanted to boo i would.
2. ya'll missed my whole point, but the whole thing is over now so i'm not wasting anymore time on it
3. obama is gonna be our next president any way, so we better go against the liberals while we can before they start eliminating our free speech
whatever. your just being a baby. you WERE in fact trying to justify booing, everyone that read the thread saw your reasoning for saying booing him was okay. i didn't say crap about your intent or why you were doing it..just that you kept trying to say it was okay. but keep taking the cheap shots all you want to. i will still defend my dad as i feel thats what family is for.
haha ok

Pastor Zack, Democrat Clubs at LU have come and gone every four years since Jimmy Carter won the presidency. This is nothing new. There have always been a handful of kids whose parents were union members or southern Democrats and there always will be. Go to www.liberty.edu, click on Quicklinks, then Streaming Video, then Convocation. Watch Monday's Convo. You will love it.

I loved the Kennedy-Falwell connection. It was a beautiful story about life and what matters most. JJ's UVA application included Kennedy's letter of recommendation. I try not to hold political views above people.

my mother was a union steward for the CWA (communication workers of america) and both parents are card-carrying members of the democratic party in texas. The only reason is for row offices to get elected you had to run as a (D). I still turned out OK. I just think that as principle, you can't associate yourself as a (D) if you agree with the party's platform. My parents have gotten saved and have now changed parties because they can't rationalize being a Christian and being a (D) according to platform. My mom is still a union steward, southerner and my dad is still in the teachers union too, but like I said they got saved.

Liberty University students Brian Diaz and Joel Krautter spent most of election night glued to a big-screen TV, watching restlessly as the returns poured in over a period of hours.

Diaz, 18, and Krautter, 20, did not keep this anxious vigil in a dorm room or student lounge. Nor did they gather at the Vines Center, where thousands of their classmates congregated to watch the results and enjoy music and food courtesy of the school.

I hope their financial aid dries up in the business office or can't get the classes they want in the registrar's office. They are tearing at the foundation of this institution. If this takes hold and turns into what has happened at Harvard/Princeton and other (previously) religious schools it will be heartbreaking.

well then, be sure to congratulate yourself for helping to bring about the death of freedom, the continued slaughter of the unborn, and the installation of a socialist - avowed enemies of democracy - into the most powerful office in the world. your mother should be SO proud.

I know a couple of conservatives at Colorado, so the tide at that school is clearly changing to republican now right? I mean there is now 1 republican for every 500 democrats. WOW!
i know a conservative kid at UC Berkley who fears for his life.

as a proud member of College Republicans at JMU (one of the most active chapters in VA), I must say, competition is never a bad thing, as long as you win ;)
