I don't like posting in this thread very often but I gotta say something when I read things that just aren't true. Slow linebackers? Are you serious? We have 2-3 linebackers that run 4.5 or better.

A 40 time has nothing to do with a rb running across them. Slow mentally or physically, it just seems to me that we are a step behind in the second level

Either that or our Cover 2 still SUCKS - the one that has yet to get fixed over the last 2 years

Why? This wasn't a Big South game.

Because winning the Big South is now our primary objective for all intents and purposes. Up until this point it was more of an afterthought in comparison to the playoffs. Yeah, I know winning conference is always the first goal. But the reality is that the postseason was the focus as evidenced by the "Unfinished Business" slogan.

Now no scores even matter anymore. If we just win one of our last two conference games we will win the Big South. It's sad that this is now our highest potential...

...and as Sly said, we will have to wait to finish business! If consistency is an issue this year, next year might be real fun.

As I wasn't able to listen to the game in its entirety, did we use Mike Brown in some fashion as we had against Stony Brook. He seems like a play changer when used in the backfield and maybe provides a look that can give defenses fits. I listened to more than half the game and we seemed rather vanilla- uncreative and predictable- except when we all thought that Jennings would get a carry and we would throw.
