Minus about 5,000 exclamation points, I completely agree. Series over.

Being completely fair, I think TB has played pretty well, though. The pitching, although inconsistent,
has been good enough to keep them in most of the games (Game 4 excluded). If their bats
hadn't fallen completely silent (talking to YOU, Upton and Longoria), they had their chances to make a series
outta this.

The sad part of this is: I've waited forever for a Phils championship, and if they clinch in Game 5, at home...I'm
gonna be on business in DC, with a parade Wednesday...that I'll miss. GAH.

If my head explodes Monday night of both joy and pain...you know why.

THE UMPIRING HAS BLOWN WORSE...
...This has absolutely been the most abysmally umpired WS I have ever seen. Buck and McCarver FINALLY started getting all over the umpires...and went and explained that the current system is due to the CBA with the umpires. They also said that the current CBA is up after either the 09 or 10 season, and that it would be an opportunity to fix things.

A major league 2B who was a gold glover in Japan MUST MAKE THAT CATCH. The Rays defense has been about as bad as the umpiring...and the guy behind the plate has already called 2-3 low pitches strikes that he called balls the other night.

At least Manuel is a relatively local guy...and it would be nice for him to win...especially with his Mom passing away recently.
