I never said he wasn't good. He's got game...my reasons for not liking him have nothing to do with his ability.

I just don't think we can depend on him to be anything more than a 5/5 kind of guy. He may have a ton of a potential but who knows how much those ankle injuries have slowed him down or effected his jumper. Even if he is 100%, it's going to take a bit for him to be in game shape...considering he hasn't played in almost a year and a half.

As I've said 100 times, if he proves me wrong--I'm more than willing to eat my words...I just don't see it.

His jumper looks great right now. Granted, I don't know about game situations, but from a pure shot, he's still got it.

The fact remains that Lundy has won more games than any other coach in the BS Conference during the last 5 years and finished ahead of LU 4 of those 5 years. He will finish ahead of LU again this year. Strength of schedule has little or nothing to do with the results, given the fact that every other school in the BS had a comparable schedule. Again, I find most of the posts on this site have little or no merit if based on facts.

If you're talking about Big South records, HPU is 44-32 over the last 5 years and LU is 41-35. So yeah, HPU has been hands down better than LU.

I'd still like to know on what basis HPU's freshman class is better than Liberty's...?

I still disagree that we have no bigs. We have plenty of height, and I think they will surprise with some toughness when the ball is tossed up.
dont forget we also added 6'11 260lbs Art Parakhouski to go alongside Joey :D

That's an impressive signing. Any word on how he's looked in early practices?

jk37,to answer your question why the HPU recruiting class was better than that of LU. The LU class was in fact rated in the top 50 by Hoop Scoop but the average rating for the LU class was 2.0, the average rating for the HPU class was 2.2 and the avg. rating for the wu class was 2.3. That rating was based on true freshman, fortunately for HPU they also add Jourdan Morris a soph transfer from St. Bonnie and RS freshman Alquan Mendenhall. The additions to the HPU class, even though I think their true freshman are the best, would make that incoming class the best in the conference.

Well, if you're playing that game, add Johnny Stephene and a Healthy Tyler Baker to our incoming class, not to mention a couple of the guys signed after all the publications came out, so it's not even up to date.

Who cares about recruit rankings?! They mean zilch right now. Come back in a year or two and we can begin to discuss who has the best class.

You guys are sure hard on Tyler Baker. You act like he plays for your most hated rival. I was at your place a couple of years ago and I thought that he was a player.
