Before the season started, most people would've pointed to tonight's match as the biggest in the conference, but WU hasn't been as strong as they had been the last 6 seasons.
Since I've only had a chance to see one WU match this year, it is tough for me to pinpoint why WU has slipped so much. They'll play really well in one set, but then they will hit really bad patches in the other sets that puts them in big holes that they can't get out of. WU also recently lost Kellie Sellers to a knee injury. She was emerging as probably the third best attacker on the squad.
Anyway, LU is definitely in much better shape at this point of the season, and after the HPU match, I know the Flames will be focused. I'm hoping WU can put up a good challenge, but to be honest, I'll be surprised if WU ends up winning more than one set.
