I agree Groh will mostly likely be out this year. The one thing UVA must consider, who would want that job. If the suspsensions keep up, the new coach will have to bring most of his old team with him.

Wrong diagnosis:

Jon and ATrain are talking with 5 or 6 other people about the ACC

Sly has no one to talk to, so he just yells "BIG 12!!!" or "TEXAS!!!" anytime people have a discussion about football. I think its just for attention. They have programs for that. And Big 12 forums



With that said the Big XII may have 5 or 6 really good teams, but there is alot of fallout cupcakes mixed in with that too.

Yea Wake got exposed big time this week... When you have no running game and Skinner throws 4 picks odds are it's gonna be tough to win... Wake is in trouble if they can't run the ball... Right now VT is the uptop of the league... How's this for you if Duke wins at GT this weekend they might find themselves in the top 25... And before you laugh at there schedule they are just 1 turnover away from running the table so far... They beat Navy by 10 at home something Wake couldn't do... Props to Cutcliffe, he has done a nice job so far..

Who is trashing Duke at this point? No, there nowhere near being an elite team but there not the laughing stock of the ACC anymore.

jdub...where were you last year and the years before?? duke fans kill me. so now your such a great team?? props on your win against the hoos. you should have won they are awful. props to cutcliffe for starting to change the culture, it is very much needed. however, start winning games on the road against the good ACC opponents and we will see how you finish. i for one am glad duke is getting better because it helps the ACC, but cmon, you have never said a thing about duke football till this year.

to answer your question flamerbob, the UVA job is still attractive. all those suspensions are academic, and providing they all work out which from what i hear those guys are working hard they will certainly help this team get back to what it was last year. also UVA has nice facilities, excellent school. this is the worst year UVA has had in a very long time. yeah im disappointed, but if groh gets fired there wil plenty to choose from in regards to a new coach.

i was in wallace wade with about 5000 other people watching the mess unfold quietly. if you had any idea how much i've supported duke football over the years you'd be surprised. i guarantee i've been more supportive than most duke fans you know. and i have talked about it, and i've been through the bad years. i supported them through it, i took all the trash talk, i went to games when they got absolutely raped, and now i'm happy that we are finally doing something.

but last year and the years before.. i was there. with goldsmith, i was there. with roof, i was there. with all the other terrible coaches who i've pushed outa my mind between spurrier and now, i was there.

I was saying in reference to the SEC, where the worst(minus Arkansas,goodness they are bad) can beat the best. Kansas State, Iowa State, Colorado, and Texas A+M do not fare all that challenging to Oklahoma nor Texas IMO.

I dont defend the ACC. They have maybe two teams that will hang in with the big boys and it goes down from there.

Stupid Duke fans get out of here. If you cant root for them at 1-12, dont at 4-0. You ever see me rooting for Rutgers because they now actually field a team worth watching? Nope
