I don't think there would be any maybe about it. The only question would be if her rehab went well and she were suffeciently recovered, would she return to play at the end of the season and give that year up? It would depend on a lot of other factors, including academics. The nursing program she is in is very demanding, especially for an athlete, where there are so many other time comittments. She might jump at the chance to have another year to finish and play a larger role on a young team in 09.

I hope this isn't true, but you have to admit the symatry of all 3 triplets having ACL injuries in their careers would be a remarkable occurance.

First opinion is yes it is a torn ACL


but they are still looking for a 2nd opinion....she is in much better shape then the other 2 meaning she is walking much better then they were, and able to do more....so they are hoping for the best for the 2nd opinion

If you got the schedule two weeks before it was posted I would imagine that same person could give you the answer.... I haven't gotten a text yet so I can't say if it did happen or not...

Word is she doesn't wanna. Something about sticking close to her sisters, graduating same time as them, etc......

That's all well and good if she is 100% and can make a legit contribution, but if I'm coach Green, I'm not going to send her out on the court hobbling for a few games at the end of the season and risk further injury just because she wants to finish her career with her sisters. If she isn't completely healthy, she should be redshirted, and she can decide after the season if she wants to return for her last year of eligibility. Academics and graduation are seperate issues from ball. She could march with her sisters and come back for some graduate courses. The fact is, there is a golden opportunity here for her to have a real leadership role on a young team next year.

I think you all are overreacting a bit. There is still time for decisions to be made and all factors have been thoroughly explored then there will be a choice made that is best for both the player and team. Let's watch this play out without jumping to conclusions.
