We've never beaten a BCS school. The only FBS school we've ever beaten is Eastern Michigan.

Our first and only? win against a D1 FBS opponent is bigger in my mind. This was back when Eric Green was playing, SR was the coach, we played Eastern Michigan I think.

We also beat a Central Florida team that had a couple of NFL players on it, years ago, not saying this was bigger than today. Just a big win, along with a couple against App.State.

The biggest win in our history will be if we win the conference and beat Elon our last game at home. I am so hoping that this game will be for the playoffs. Can you imagine the atmosphere at that game?

Assuming we beat CCU and the next 4 conference games,

Beating GW would be the biggest win in our history. A 11-1 team(if we lose to Elon) will not be ranked worse than 16th, We would have won the conference, and we already have the two wins necessary.

With that said, if beating Elon makes us 12-0, then obviously thatd be the biggest.

Why does it even matter if this was the biggest game? Even if it was, we have an even bigger game next week. If we don't win our conference, we don't get in the playoffs.

Yeah, sorry guys for jumping the gun on the biggest win. It doesn't matter right now. Great win, no doubt. Let's enjoy this tonight, and then get ready for Coastal.

It's conference play now - where the bullseye is clearly on our chest.

Coach Rocco said on the radio that the Big South does not get its automatic bid to the playoffs till 2011. Threfore, we have to get in the playoffs this year as an at large team. So this win does to along way to getting us there but we still have eight more games to play

Hey bud you have alot to learn
2 OOC wins + Conference champ + 16th in average of polls = automatic bid

SCAR wrote:It may have been a questionable call but to say the O coordinator needs to look for a job is just stupid. If Jordan misses a game winning free throw do you cut him? Not saying our coaches are Jordan but you have to look at the whole picture and not one play...Sheeesh.
True my friend. I posted that we should try a play action play because of the surprise factor and didn't seem to be too risky from a field position perspective. If it had worked, everyone would be calling the OC a genius.

Anyway, we just have to be so happy for this big win. For lots of years we have only been able to cry about "how did we lose this one." We have a great coach and a better program by the day. HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the end of this year, this game wont be the one looked as the big one

But it will be the game where we KNEW this team is for real

I dont really agree with that, but again, although I dont like the play call, the players have to get it done on the field.

I could not get the radio feed from WRVL so I listened to the YSU radio feed on the internet. The guy who's the coach was unbelieveable. Where did yoou get this guy. He was complainig the whole game that Liberty was holding on offense and that the referees were not calling it. Also, he said some thing that were so obivious if you have ever followed football you would already know. The guy was terrible.

Everyone saying the OC should be fired is just, in the words of the YSU announcer, dumb.

He made a few absolute great calls, especially that halfback pass, and you guys want to fire him for one play in which the quarterback screwed up. If Brock completes the pass, or even has it incomplete, people may complain and disagree with it, but they're not saying the coach should be fired. So, because the quarterback made a bad pass, the OC should be fired? That makes no sense.

If Liberty does not win the game, then the 3rd and 4 play would have been brought up as a reason why Liberty did not win. I think it is still casue for some concern but fire the OC? The YSU radio guy does not know what he is talking about.

I paid the $15 to watch it live from my front porch. Best $15 that I ever spent.
