I'm seriously thinking about making the trip, especially since it's just a couple hours north of my parents' house in West Virginia.

Part of me died on the inside when I foudn out that this game was the same day as the Lynchburg Classic. I had originally circled this as a game to travel to this year (I have a friend who lives/works in Canton)

I can give some suggestions to augment the day up in Y-town. The HOF in Canton is a decent drive but doable. And there is a great Quaker Steak & Lube just across the PA border in Sharon that is a big hit for my family.

Great run game, 345 rushing, with 2 backs over 100 yards, and Sommers, QB transfer from Toledo with 65 rushing. Love to run zone scheme with qb counter trey. Keep your eyes on Kamryn Keys, #9, rshirt freshman running back who stole show in 2nd half. Throwing enough to keep you off balance. Will line up in two tight ends and run power/stretch. Good secondary with athletes, but suspect vs. run between tackles.
Exciting game in which NDSU was down by twenty in the 3rd but came back to nearly tieing it with seconds to go.

They were exceptionally thrilled with this win, as they should be, and the talk after is they know have to worry about one more opponent......

They're looking past four teams? Sure, only one of those teams have historically been competitive against the Pens but that's unbelievable.

It is the original from which the chain got its start. The antenna of onion rings are outstanding. It is not far from another college often tied in with us ... Grove City College.

As promised last winter when I poked fun at number 55, Flame fans who make the trip up from VA, follow the scent of bbq and smoke to the tailgate lot by the YSU stadium. There will be some 30lbs. of beef tri-tip on the grills and probably some custom cut pork chops. You will be able to see Madmatt talking football and holding court at the same time. Look for the LU and OSU flags, 3 grills, a tent and listen for the OSU marching band on the stereo.....but played quietly after USC. I only ask that LU wins in Ohio this year. I hear YSU is tougher this year than Toledo was last year. Go Flames and hope to see you on the North Coast this Saturday. Unfortunately you wont get the whole experience as there is no snow in the forecast (partly cloudy and 67 at kickoff).

If gas prices weren't 3.89 a gallon up here I'd make the 5 hour drive. Guess I'll be sitting near the computer at game time again. :(

YSU can't afford to look past any teams. There are 5 teams in our conference ranked higher than us and so is Liberty.Every opponent we have is capable of beating us-some more likely than others .Looking past teams is a great way to get losses pinned on you and I highly doubt that YSU will look past any.Historically almost all of the teams have been highly competitive against us.This year our team has been hit with so many injuries that even if we wanted to we couldn't look past any opponent without being in danger of defeat.

All I can tell you is what I was hearing on the way out, and listening to your penguin guru on the post game show,..... he was amazing.
Anything that could be accomplished in one football game had taken place that night.

Not sure who was really amazing. I think we all came away impressed with RFr. Kamryn Keys that ran for 141 yards, and Jabari Scott that ran for 121 yards. They made it look far too easy. And Summers did well at opening up the passing game, keeping the defense honest. YSU probably ran the same play with Keys 10-15 times though, it wore down NDSU.

But yes, everything that could go well, did.

GOOD LUCK LIBERTY!

Yeah I've come across people like that too but they're not in the majority thankfully-I think they are just bewildered since the Weekly World News folded and they also missed their seat on the comet a few years back.I'm wishing you all the best of luck ,but unlike our other poster I want it to begin AFTER this game and I'm truly sincere about that.
Coaching changes

It appears your intel was on the mark.
