But you have to know that we must do better as things go on to keep winning. We must cut the penalties and put the ball in the endzone. And say what you want, but they had Brock's number.
Hicks is scary!
How did they have Brock's number????

:banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead :frustrated :frustrated :frustrated :frustrated :frustrated :frustrated :furious :furious :furious :furious :furious :furious

Please, tell me how they had Brock's number, at all.

Please!
Look at the stats and get your head out of the cool aid.
I LOVE Brock and think he is going to lead us to the playoffs this year, but tonight was not his best night. Therefore, the Defense made things hard on him.
Wow, so you just look at stats and call it a day?

He had balls dropped, he threw the ball away when he needed to.

He had some HUGE runs for us...

and..

He was 16/26 for 154... on the ROAD... in the SOCON...in our first REAL GAME.

He did well, and even a quick glance at the stats doesn't show them "having his number"...

I agree. It's their first Real test of the season and they came away with a win. I am interested to see practice this week.

WOW!
You sold me there.

Look I give up.

It IS a great win and I'm glad. I'm just saying, it should have been a two score win at least. We have to Finish games strong. Having a good 3rd quarter and then a VERY BAD fourth is not how to get it done in the BIG games ahead.

But indeed a good win.

It should have been a 2 score game, huh?

Well, a Corey Rasberry drop on a SURE touchdown, and motion penalties in the red zone on a different drive would have been two more scores....

And this is Brock's fault?

It gets really frustrating around here when you are the one person who feels differently about a topic.

STOP PUTTING WORDS IN MY MOUTH> Find where I said it was Brock's fault. I just said he was off. It was a TON of different reasons. Driving deep and getting nothing or only a FG is not the goal.

I agree with all the issues you stated and many more. So wouldnt we rather those not happen and we will by a bigger margin. That's all I said.

AND SINCE you haven't heard it yet. GREAT WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People are so quick to jump on the blame Brock bandwagon... and you were talking about how they "Had his number" and I figured you were trying to pin the struggles on Brock when really, I think he did pretty well.

And, we won. I am happy we won, but all the Debbie Downers ticked me off pretty good.

BROCK IS RULER OF THE FREE WORLD AND NEVER DOES WRONG. SORRY!

He was 1 small issue among 30 we had tonight.

Goodnight - Coolaid Dude, you have ruined my night and made me tired 2 hours before my bed time!

I don't think anybody is being a Debbie Downer. If we make the mistakes or missed plays we did tonight, we will not win anymore games let alone make the playoffs.

You say you aren't a downer, but then you talk about how we won't win again if we play like we did in a win???

Brilliant, I tell ya. Write a book, it'll sell like hotcakes.

Seriously, chill out. A win is a win but we weren't breaking out the champagne when we beat Glennville. This is a team we should have dominated. We won by 3. I am happy we won. I'm not happy with the overall performance. It's ok to be critical of a team as a fan. If you hadn't made such a big stink about it, these issued would have been aired out and this thread would probably be less of a downer.

How is it that I can have such a radically different view of what's going on?

I mean, really. I see so much wrong with this, that apparently none of you guys can see.

Whatever, air out all your issues, I am stoked for Youngstown and ticked off that there's a bye week.
Coaching changes

It appears your intel was on the mark.
