Sorry, but Coulson's nothing but a Appy State hack...... hates the rest of the SoCon, anything he writes about other SoCon schools is suspect.....
I don't think anyone here is a big fan of him, either. It's just not often we get the top 25 treatment.
I didn't mean to detract from your ranking.....

Liberty coming to Cullowhee as a top 25 ranked team is great.... IF we can pull off an upset, it would mean that Coach Wagner's ahead of schedule in a turn-a-round of Catamount Football.

Are you borrowing App. State's team for the weekend?

Don't get overconfident guys, we haven't done anything yet!!! Hopefully that will be different after Saturday night.

I couldn't agree more flameshaw. Unlike our recent past, we (pretty much) did what we should have against 2 D2 opponents, but there's no guarantee it will translate to FCS. Saturday we have a much better idea what we have.

Come on guys get real. Beating two Div II teams is not a lot to hang your hat on..... two lower Div II teams at that.....(NG was 5-6 & Glenville State was 6-5 in 2007)

I didn’t come on here talking smack to you guys…… I can get that on AGS from appy state 24/7. So I'll just stay off your board in the future and let the two teams settle it on the field. Good Luck to you other LU fans..... except for this weekend ;-)

You don't need to go anywhere, The Cats. It was rather good natured ribbing. Its been a long time since we had a Division I opponent to talk about.

We really cannot overlook anybody right now. With this teams history of not doing so well in the third game, I really think that this is a key cog in what could be a very good season (this three game road stretch)

Relax Cats. Man can't I have a little fun. This could be a very tough game. 1 - it's away, 2- we're beat up 3 - we have no clue what we have just yet.

It was 100% taking pokes at you! The other guys from other schools are more used to us I suppose.

Best of luck to you for the rest of the season . . . After Saturday!

OH YEA - BJ way to take me out of context on your Sig!

What I actually said:

I am beginning to really agree with BJ on this point only!

Maybe if Rooster's joke was better, it would have been received better. :)

In the 35 year history of the Flames
football program, Liberty has posted a 9-25-1
in its first road game of the season, including
a setback in its last 10-straight road-opening
contest. Liberty’s last road-opening victory
was the Flames’ lone road win in the series
against Western Carolina, as Liberty defeated
the Catamounts, 17-10, in its first road game
of 1997 (Sept. 12). Since jumping to the
Division I level, Liberty is 5-15 in road-opening
contests.
