Jerry Edwards was one of the first folks I listened to around here when I decided to become a sports broadcaster. That being said, I do wonder if he isnt getting near time to pass the torch (I mean even the LONGtime broadcaster for the Twins had to move on soon enough)

For those who were not around to listen to JE when he was on top of his game, I can imagine his current broadcasts probably make you want to pull your hair out. For those of us who were, it's that plus maybe cry a little. It's funny, but the day he almost missed the BB game at Coastal because he thought it was at night, he did one of his best play by plays in years.
