Congrats to Jason Jones for making the Florida State Leauge (High A) All-Star Team. I guess all the media looked over this or just has not put it up yet, but Jason threw the second inning behind last year's Winthrop Ace Kevin Slowey, who struck out the side on 9 pitches (8 fastballs, 1 Changeup). Jones gave up 2 hits and 1 run, but made a fairly good showing too go along with a sparkling 2.74 ERA and 6-2 record this year. Congrats to both of these guys.

Congratulations indeed. I admit I hadn't caught the All-Star aspect of Jason despite trying to follow his stats in the other thread.

BTW since you found your way here, alum ... why not stick around & register. We could use some more baseball guys around here.

i believe he'll be up in a couple of years... the yanks need pitching! I saw him pitch in STaten Island, he got the stuff
