This is why we have a problem with you. Whenever someone tries to clean things up and get it back to somewhat of a sensible topic, you go and say something like this. I try to make things right and keep them from being personal and you obviously have no desire for that to happen.

Are you serious right now??? I am literally shocked!!! I have said a lot of stupid things, obviously as a joke and to tick people off, but I wasn't even making a stupid comment there? It may have been somewhat tainted with a dab of sarcasm, but I wasn't saying anything malicious or making any sort of "personal attack"!!!
I do appreciate you addressing the issue of the "hater mail" even though it did happen to be untrue, but I am having difficulty recollecting many sensible discussions on here. I feel like I should be wearing some sort of armor for all of the shots being taken.

Ok so...I couldn't help but notice this. ( and I'm saying not saying this with any hostility what so ever, honestly)- Skittles and Lilly- you girls keep referring to how "classy" you are, yet almost all of your posts are a detriment to somebody elses character. Personally, I see no class in that. I don't understand if you just need to put others down to make yourself feel better or if you just insist on making your life another episode of the Hills, but really...don't insist that you're sooo classy and then act like such a "spoiled snob". Seems to me that you should jump off of your self-righteous high-horse, because judging by the comments YOU make, you certainly don't deserve to be talking down from up there. Just because you preface your bashing with "I'm not saying this with any hostility" [sidenote, you must not be a true Southerner because the catchphrase for being a jerk for lack of a better word and not getting called out on it is typically "Bless their heart but......."] doesn't mean that you are being any less judgmental or rude. I never got on here and told someone that they didn't have any class. I didn't get on here and tell someone that they were a "spoiled snob". I never got on here and said I personally would never wear $10 jeans from Wal-Mart or anything else similar to the things YOU HAVE just posted. I believe that point has already been made....numerous times. And I'm confused by the fact that most who were bashing those wearing sundresses and such were actually saying that they wouldn't care if you wore sundresses, just wear red ones. So how would that be any less like imitating the "boozers" who are a part of a fraternity or sorority? Red dresses aren't "alcoholic style" but pink and green ones are?

Obviously it needed to be made again, because our Presby friend didn't get it. And I'm not "most," so I don't get what you're talking about. I could care less what people wear to the game, as long as they're clothed. When people go out of their way to imitate frat lifestyles, I have a problem with that on multiple levels.

well I think I might have been in class or doing something productive and missed a lot of information somewhere between page 3 and page 8, but I figured I should try to get a word in every 5th page or so.

In regards to the comment that SuperJon made about us "promoting" other attire, I have this to say:

In defense of "Southern Style"
It is to my knowledge that the intent of the group was not to convince all Flamer fans to dress like us, but to build a small group (a select few if you will) that shows spirit in a different kind of way, one that is generally accepted in most southern university cultures. And, since LU is a southern university there is nothing wrong with that, unless of course your name is Gerard Corone...I mean Jonathan. Then, I think it is safe to assume that his view states that we all MUST WEAR RED or perish.

To put it simply, we are all LU Football fans. We come in a variety of all shapes, sizes, and colors. But, we all have one common goal--BEAT COASTAL! I mean...GO FLAMES!!!!

And why is there so much hostility on this thread? Some people want there to be a sea of red in the stands and some people want skittles! I say the two groups, LUnatics and Southern Comfort, eeeeeeerrrrrr I mean Southern Style (just a joke, don't get mad!) should combine! We are a bunch of fiery people and we could combine our sarcasm and hostility to tick off the other teams we play instead of each other! Any one down?
