we're talking about wearing school colors. WHITE is a school color =) and what members of the LUnatics are complaining about isn't that people showed up in different colors but that people were promoting wearing different colors

Yes. And a lot of my Liberty shirts are white or grey, which upsets me. But don't worry...I've got a red shirt that says Liberty in black cursive for next week...and I need to stop and Steve & Berry's I guess to get some alternate red shirts.

Hello everyone! It's so nice to finally be apart of this great blog! I wanted to create a profile earlier to chat with you guys, but I was on the phone with my parent's attorney all morning and have just now gotten a chance..... but that's neither here nor there.
I just want to make sure that I understand what exactly the issue is before I begin spouting off "horse in drag" arguments....so I would appreciate if someone would pleeeease be kind enough to give me a brief synopsis of what you all are attempting to accomplish with this blog.

a) It's a message board. Not a blog.

b) You can whine about attorneys all you want, it isn't going to change.

c) The problem is promoting something other than wearing red to games. If a group of people want to wear something other than red, sure, but don't sit in the student section and don't tell other people to do the same thing.

d) If you want to wear sun dresses then by all means, do it, but do it like UVA and wear school colors.

well... some people on this thread have taken things a little bit too far. Other than that I think the original point to this thread was that we do not think dressing up for a game (if its not in school colors) is only taking away from the game day experience.

I don't like it, but after thinking about it a little bit more, I would rather have more people there, even if they are not in read. The pic looked good with the stands full. And even though the spots with bright green patches didn't look very good, we were still a very loud and intimidating crowd. I think that's probably more important in the end than a sea of red.

So I'm not going to argue that you guys shouldn't do this anymore. You do whatever you want. I however, will be there in my red shirt since that's what fans have been asked to do.
