First off, about 50 thumbs down to Liberty’s facilities people. You’ve had a month to prepare for the season opener, yet you can’t get the AC up and running? Bad form. Real bad form. It’s a sweatbox in here.

Some first-half observations:

* The crowd of 15,311 is Liberty’s largest ever for a season opener. It’s second in school history to the homecoming crowd for the William & Mary game two years ago.

* Zach Terrell scored a touchdown in the first quarter, his 17th straight game with at least one trip to the end zone.
