The Defensive Line was expected to be a question mark entering the 2008 season, but with the late additions of Asa Chapman and VT transfer Daryl Robertson it seems as though there is plenty of depth here. Colin Dugan is the anchor at nose guard, with Trey Jacobs and Kevin Richard penciled in as starter on the outside; however, Daryl Robertson and Tim Smith are pushing for starting time on the edge. Asa Chapman has stepped in as the #2 NG. Jay Coady, Soren Wedland, and Terry Adams could all see time this year in reserve roles. I expect Stan Herring, Ryan Jackson and Greg Schuster to redshirt.
