Liberty coach Danny Rocco has always valued Wes Cheek’s versatility. Cheek has spent two years as a backup tailback, but he’s also been one of the Flames’ best coverage options on kickoffs and punts.http://www.newsadvance.com/lna/sports/c ... ense/7488/
Heck, he even tried his hand (or foot) at punting last season.
That flexibility will be put to the test again this season. With Liberty’s linebacking unit depleted by injuries, Rocco moved Cheek from tailback to outside linebacker. He informed Cheek of the move Saturday night.
