i think this was me for the most part complaining about attendance last year.

All the home games were televised last year and I believe we had record attendance.
Yes I have never bought into the idea that the locals will stay home if you show it on TV, especially for football. I have had many people tell me they stayed home to watch on TV during basketball because of the weather or because they forgot there was a game that night and remembered to tune in after it started. Basketball and football are different. Football is mostly on Saturday afternoon or evening at Liberty. Basktetball has several nights they can play during the week. I think this deal is great and I think Kevin Keys is doing a terrific job. I am excited about more exposure from a personal standpoint as well. I will be looking a little different than that pic in the article and my avatar. I have lost 25 lbs so far and plan on losing another 10 or so....I can't wait to tivo all the games in football. I believe basketball is going to have a similar deal with FamilyNet and MASN as well but I don't know if they have hammered out the details yet. I CANT WAIT FOR FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!
A svelte Scar could mean a more mobile Scar at the alumni game at homecoming.
Yeah if anything seeing the crowds and the excitement on television builds the attendance for football. No other sport generates the level of excitement of Saturdays in the fall. The more people who can become exposed to the experience through television the bigger the crowds will be moving forward.

I would like to come down for a game providing I could get someone to go with me to share expenses. Kind of expensive with the ridiculous price of gas these days to do it on my own. Maybe I could camp out at Lake Nelson or Crabtree falls and not have to pay high motel charges and get taxed to death. PA Medic are you up to it? I am willing if you are.
with my work schedule its not looking good- possibly the 2nd game (9/6)
depends on the family situation, as well.
will PM you
