I have been nothing but civil and would love to continue to be civil.

The biggest problem I have with Obama is that I have yet to hear any answers to the questions I want answers too....at least McCain has answers...I don't like all of those answers which is why I have a problem with voting for him....

and i think before anybody votes for anybody they should get their candidates answers to the tough questions....

This was sent to me by her and never said it was not good enough. I simply said it was not a clear picture of how Obama is going to bring change to politics. I want to know what Obama brings to the table that is any different then anybody that has ever ran. People can support whoever they like...but I really would love to know what does Obama actually plan to do?? I have yet to hear it because when you ask a supporter this question they get upset and act as if their initial response was not good enough

I will be honest I have no idea who I am going to vote for...the two major candidates aren't doing to for me...but Obama supporters just annoy me to no end because when you question them they act as if you are just a non-accepting conservative idiot...when in fact many would argue I am not that conservative...

I am also registered independent, and I don't agree with McCain on a number of issue but I do on others. I will vote for him instead of Barack who has no clue. Red,white and blue will not run if McCain is president, cannot say the same for Barack.

The thing is, I already know where he stands on the issues. He goes to church but is pro choice, believes in redistribution of wealth, a weak military system etc etc. It is nothing new because the Democrats have been spewing the same song and dance for the last 30 plus years. How bout this, let me decide where and how to invest my money, take care of my family and grow a business> i find it offensive that they want to make everything equal. I have looked over Obama's "Blueprint for America" and I will admit, SOME things are vague and need more definition. However, a lot of stuff is in-dept and explains Obama's plans for America. That's why I have to listen to his speeches and such, so I can catch more of his plan. I know this dissatisfies a lot of you, because you want answers. I do too. But even though there aren't answers to everything, I still believe in Obama, and what he can do for America.

But anyway, this whole thing really wasn't supposed to be about me. It's supposed to be about LU Students for Barack Obama, and what we are doing to get him elected. Even though you guys don't agree with support of Obama, please recognize that we are working hard, like I am sure the opposing side is... only a little less (sorry, the Obama campaign HAS really kicked it into high gear.)

So please, instead of bashing me or bashing anyone else in the group, please realize we are trying hard to give people answers that they need, and give them a reason to vote for Obama.

Honestly, I don't consider myself that great of a Christian, and I have went south since I quit going to church and all. i just think that if you want to get him elected, you should be able to discuss the issues he stands on. not vague terms of 'hope' and 'change'. that is why people feel he isn't qualified, plus the fact that he has no experience, but mainly because he can't answer a question with a clear answer. He just smiles his way out of situations.

Think about this. Hitler was one of the best speech givers that ever lived.

the thing is Obama's blueprint is nothing new...sure its different then what Bush is all about...but its the same thing the democratic party has been pushing for years and the same approach...nothing new...so when i hear the words "change" I just expect something different, something new....but its the same old crap that the dem. party has been doing for years and it hasn't gotten us anywhere...

Bottom line:

Barack Obama will probably be a great leader, it's just a question of where he's leading us to. I disagree with his domestic agenda, and I disagree with his foreign policies. And, I don't like the people he has behind-the-scenes helping him along (the Kennedys, the Chicago Political Machine, the Bill Ayers & Jeremiah Wright's).

It's nothing personal. It's not because he's black, or because he's inexperienced (worked out well for Lincoln, eh?). He's not a Muslim, so that's not it. He's just, in my opinion, wrong.
