Got an e-mail from VT and next year ESPN is trying to get VT and Alambama to open the 09 season against each other in the Georgia Dome... They would then push back there opner with Cincy to 2012.
That would be one really good game, if they can't reach a deal then VT will play another SEC team to open up next year...

Would a football game at a NASCAR venue even be doable?
Maybe 'Bama won't do it but Tennessee will...and I honestly doubt UT would run from VT.

you couldn't pick up the sarcasm. i am in no way a tide fan. I was pretty much laughing at the tide. i do follow Georgia on occasion but not as passionately as i do LU and UNC.

Whether or not you take Tech seriously doesn't matter, the Hokies will beat UVA on the field regardless.
