I believe Bridget spoke with D-coordinator Tom Clark a few days ago, and theres been knowbody from MDvarsity, or Scout.com guys from MD giving him a call. The only updated sources I see with Bridget actually giving quotes are from the local Baltimore newspaper. BAltimoresun.com, and on Scout.com where he was intereviewed by eDuck, apart of U. Oregon affiliation, and both times he mentioned his staus regarding LU. So I don't think the kid is playing games here, I do think he's just going about the recruitment just as everybody else is. He wants to see if there ar any other porgrams that see him in their plans, and you van't fault a guy for that. Can you :?:

The latest in the saga of Mr. Bridget ...

Courtney Bridget continues to favor Oregon slightly over Rutgers, West Virginia, Clemson, Liberty, Connecticut and Duke. He visited the Ducks during their spring game. "I enjoyed it out there," Bridget said. "It was real nice and I love the facilities. Everything is brand new. Also the coach recruiting me (Michael Gray) is also from Maryland and went to Dunbar High School, so we bonded right..."

Courtney Bridget, the 6-foot-3, 190-pound two-star cornerback/free safety from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Baltimore, Md., finished his junior season with 66 total tackles, three fumbles caused and one fumble recovered. Last season he played at Calvert Hall High School, before transferring to Dunbar.

"I'm smart and have a lot of knowledge about the game," Bridget said. "I work out hard and think I know more than the average high school defensive back. I see football as being more about the mental game than the physical and I think that's my edge."
It doesn't sound like he has any commitment to us at all at this point.
Bridget says that he sent the Ducks his tape last November, and got a response back from them right away. "They responded to my tape," he said. "Location isn't a factor for me and I was just trying to get my name out and see if I'm good enough to play Div. I ball."

During the summer Bridget attended camps at Maryland, Temple and Rutgers. "Rutgers already has like 22 commits, so they are getting low on scholarships," he said. "But I talked to coach Greg Schiano a few days ago and he said that if anyone decommits or if an offer opens up, they'll call me."

Calling Courtney at all at this point seems out of place. He now claims offers from UNLV, LU and Illinois State. But it appears the Oregon Ducks are out of the equation ...

There may come a time when Dunbar High School isn’t the bully of Maryland Class A football, but it doesn’t look like it will be anytime soon. In Western Maryland you can always count on Fort Hill or Allegany to be kicking butt and taking names, but when the championship comes, Dunbar always seem to have too much talent.

Baltimore Sun wrote:Miller, who recorded 133 tackles and 29 sacks as a senior, said he’s excited that Poets cornerback Courtney Bridget has also committed to the Rebels.

“That’s going to make it even more comfortable,” Miller said. “When you’re going to pick a college, all you want to do is feel comfortable. That’s why I chose UNLV.”

Just as well. If Vegas is his "comfort level", something tells me he wouldn't be a happy camper on the mountain.
