Just got off the phone with my mom...seems Becky is having issues breathing again, and they are having to put her back in the ICU and possibly back on the ventilator as well.

I got to see her on Saturday night and she looked like she was definitely not dealing with the pain very well. The doctors are doing the best that they can though. I was talking to my mom and oldest sister on the way to the movies (OT: Prince Caspian is a fun movie but I do not recommend it for small children), and it has caused me to change my prayers. Not only am I praying for her physical condition, but Im also praying for her spiritual condition. I really fel like teh devil has been attacking her pretty hardcore for the last 5 years and she never really had a solid spiritual base, being poured into by someone so she could pour into other people's lives (One reason why I treasure the relationships I have with people like Pastor Dane and Liberty and Pastor Tip at Thomas Road) and it really came to roost in how she has responded to the pain she is experiencing. If you could not only pray for her to get better physically, but also pray that GOd can work in her heart and bring her back to himself and then send someone into her life that can pour into her like I have been poured into.

A praise in the midst of all this prayer for Becky: Yesterday, my sister Lydia received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Well folks, Becky is continuing to improve. She has some tough days occasionally but she is doing better overall. Just before going down to Savannah for my younger sister's graduation, my parents had her transferred to another hospital after she had a severe low blood sugar episode while at the first hospital she had been in since this whole thing started back in April. They are hoping to run some neurological tests to figure out why she slipped into a coma like she did and also want to get her into physical therapy as well. She has had a tracheotomy for a couple weeks and the doctor at the other hospital is hoping to get that capped off so that she will be able to talk on her own (she has been trying to do so for about a week). Continue praying for her recovery and ESPECIALLY pray for improvement of her spiritual condition as I really think she needs to get things right with the Lord after this is resolved.

Becky continues to improve. She even got a chance to talk to my dad on the phone. She has a lot yet to do though because she has been bedridden for many many weeks and will need a bunch of physical therapy which she will get at another facility once she is discharged from the hospital.

As a side note: I have been hired by WBRG Supertalk 1050 AM and 104.5 FM as the voice of the Heritage High School Pioneers and a part time board operator.

Basically my job is to make sure that things get played and played at teh right volume so people can hear it and make sure that if something goes wrong that I keep something on the air at all times

I used to work at WBRG. It's kind of a tough job for the 1st week or so when you don't know what you're doing. And Brent has no patience if you're screwing up his programing on the air. But once you get the hang of it, it's a cake job.

Yup. Im excited. After doing a couple games for LCA last year I was over the moon when I got this chance. The GM loved the energy that he heard in the few highlights of actual play by play I had on my demo CD. (last play LCA vs Flint Hill and Rocco to Kelly TD vs Bishop Ireton in the state championship)
