This is one time I'm with 84. Actually, I find NBA PA announcers incredibly annoying as a group, but he is perhaps the worst.

he's the best if you don't want to understand half the words he says when announcing starting line-ups...

I agree. I just dont see the Celtics winning this series either, although that's what the NBA wants to happen.

if Billups can't show up to play I don't see the Pistons having much chance of winning the series. Sure they won two games against the Magic without Billups, but the Celtics are a much better team than the Magic. Stuckey is a quality fill-in for Billups, but he is no where near as good as Billups can be...

if the Celtics play defense like they did in games 1 and 3, the Pistons will not win another game in this series. They played subpar D in game 2 and still only lost by 6 (it was really more like 4 since Prince made two meaningless free throws with 1 second left)...

the pistons are playing some dang good defense tonight so far, but they are absolutely mugging the Celtics in the paint and the refs are letting it go, it's just ridiculous.

Refs finally starting to call fouls and the awesome celtics FT shooting is the only reason they are even in the game.

well game 4 is basically game three except with the pistons being the dominant team...

and amazingly enough, despite being dominated pretty much the entire first half, the celtics are only down 4 at the half and pierce, garnett, and allen have barely done anything on offense aside from make free throws.

i may end up being wrong about this series going 6...but i still think the pistons are the better team and will end up winning this series

refs might as well just hand the win to the pistons. it is unreal how many fouls are being called in their favor and how many fouls that aren't being called that go in their favor - like that paul pierce offensive foul when he was attempting a three. some of the most horribly inconsistent refs i've seen all year.
