The most irritating thing for me was hearing the name "Jeremy Bentham" repeated over and over and not knowing who that was on the show (I was guessing "Ben" since those 3 letters are in the last name). However, after 3 full hours of viewing, we finally find out that John Locke is the one in the casket, and supposedly Michael and Jin are blown up on the boat, and the entire island has disappeared.

So, first four seasons: trying to get off the island.
Next three seasons: trying to get back to the island.

Interesting.

And it was nice to see mr. echo finally make it back to the show.

so, we've caught up with the flashforwads. Will next season just jump back and forth between the stories of the people on and off the island? The same timeline? That would be wierd.

It was bascially fantastic. I'm so so glad that we're only dealing with 2 different times. I thought they were gonna be jumping all over time but it's just back and forth. I can handle that. A lot of shows (Heroes) are just in 5 different time lines and it gets way too confusing and paradoxical. I can't believe there's no more flashbacks/forwards. It's changed to on the island or off. I think Sun is now a bad guy. There's 2 factions off of the island it seems like. Hurley/Sun/Whidmore team VS Ben/Jack/Sayeed team.

Sayeed doesn't seem to be down with Ben anymore. And what about Kate? I wonder who the guy is who hired the lawyers to do the blood tests on her and Aaron. And Ben, as usual, is totally bluffing about what he's doing, but then the scientist lady at the church (previously the clock lady) kind of threw things off again.

Here's something I just thought of. The scenes on the island are taking place right after the explosion happened (and also further back in time but we need some kind of constant to discuss it easier), and the scenes off of the island are taking place 3 years after that. But we don't know when the scenes with Desmond and Penny are taking place. Are we to assume he obtained this new memory 3 years later or is he on the same time line as the island folks?

I think Desmond is in the same time as everyone off the island. Hurley is retarded for running to the cops. Don't really know what's going on with Sun. Cannot stand the way Ben talks, still reminds me of Henry Gale - I wanna punch him in the face. Hurley chucked a hot pocket at him, that was funny. Ethan almost killed John, that would've messed up some time space junk.

Penny and Desmond are in the 'three years later' period; when Desmond woke up with the new memory of Faraday, Penny reminded him that he hasn't been on the island in three years.

OK...here is a new one for you.

Ellie..the girl that walked Faraday out to the bomb....is Hawking/Ring Lady.... is Faraday's Mother....Faraday said that she looked awful familiar to him

and....Widmore...is Faraday's father....

Timeline works out perfectly...they were in 1954...enough time for Faraday to be born, and still be working on the orchid station in the 70's from season premiere.

(not my theory, one I heard, but makes a lot of sense)

Great show last night!

The big question there is when Faraday is actually from.

Good theory. It is interesting that the whole show might hinge on a guy that didn't show up until season 3(?).

Jin recovered in the water by the FRENCH people back in the day?

So I guess Jin has been alive floating around in the water this whole time. And he's been going back and forth with the flashes or whatever. So Rousseau finds him. INSANE

I knew he had to be alive. It just seemed likely.

Great show last night! I think we all knew that Jin was going to be alive. I was also really hoping that through these flashes, we would be able to get Rousseou's back story. Looks like we might....and who knew...she was quite the looker back in the day!

Okay, so the name of this episode is "The Little Prince", and when the kayakers arrive on the beach after the flash, Locke kids over a container with the word "Besixdouxe". This references an asteroid, B612, which is a real asteroid, but also from an old Frech children's book, called, "The Little Prince". Significant? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/46610_B%C3%A9sixdouze
