Really? I thought it was subpar overall. I really like the Blue Album and Pinkerton. I think the Green Album is good summertime fun. I thought Maladroit was underrated. I think Make Believe was absolute garbage. From what I remember listening to last week, Dreamin was the only song that was memorable. The Greatest Man That Ever Lived is getting a lot of hype but I didn't think it was that good. Pork and Beans was good musically but lyrically it was crap (which I think may have been the point - Rivers taking a shot at the label). Everything I heard leading up to the leak was how this was a return to Blue and Pinkerton days...I don't hear it.

as of right now and have only listened to it once, i agree that it is in nowhere near comparitive to blue and pinkerton.

i think all the in between albums have been crap. i think this one is much better than those...

song #4 is great.

the rest are pretty good....its just nice that its not crap anymore..

i have fought the temptation to download the cd...this is not helping...I have heard nothing but good things about it though....to expect anything to ever top blue or Pinkerton (especially Pinkerton) isn't realistic...but from the 2 songs I have heard from the cd I am hopeful....I did enjoy Make Believe...for a while...but its not timeless like Blue and Pinkerton....

I was among the many who didn't "get" Pinkerton when it was released. I rediscovered it a couple years ago and find it to be a great album. I'm still partial to Blue. I would dare to say that I have gone back to that album and listened to it more than any other that I own. It's just a great fun record that I know every word to.

I try to take good care and avoid scratches but if one of my favorites got scratched I'd definitely buy another copy. Some albums are worth having a hard copy for me. I burn all the time but when it's an important album I prefer the real deal.

best quote on the cd

"If you don’t like it, you can shove it But you don’t like it, you love it."

this is by far their best cd since pinkerton....its the first cd they have put out since then that I have liked every song....

its great, classic weezer

I've never been a huge Weezer fan. I've liked some stuff, but never really loved anything. Should I get the cd?

I have loved weezer for a long time and while this new album is different, it is still really good. Buy it Superjon. Or illegally download it. Your choice!
