I really liked last nights show. It filled in a bunch of the gaps. It also answered a few questions.

First...we now know definitively why Tom said last year that Kate was not his type :vomit

I like how they handled the whole "Walt getting older problem" I assume we will see him in a flash forward at some time.

I love the fact that Michael can not kill himself because the island is "not done with him yet." Not completely sure what the meaning is behind it, but I like it.

Thought it was great when the button Michael had to hit to blow up the bomb was an execute button.

What are your thoughts on who killed Danielle and Karl? Do you think it is part of Ben's group that he said went to the temple? Makes the most sense.... Ben sends them there, knowing that they will kill Danielle and Karl.

I am so glad this is not the last episode until next year. Thank you for the strike ending!

That's what I get for flipping between LOST and college basketball: I must have missed that scene entirely. Play Basketball

I'm thinking the people that shot Rousseau and Karl are from the freighter. That's why Alex jumped up claiming to be Ben's daughter, because Ben had just gotten finished telling her that the freighter people would use her to get to him. She was basically turning herself in to save her own life. I also don't think Rousseau is dead, she's been on the island too long to die that way. Watch, she'll end up being like the Russion pirate who's invincible.

And I was way off on the Walt suicide-machine thing. I didn't really believe it, it was just a passing thought, but you schmoes will just grab on to anything, won't you. But he's still a bird-killing machine.

Umm, I thought Claire was dead.

Sucks that Alex is dead.

Penny is about to be dead.

Everyone that ran outside was shot with one shot, but Sawyer ran around and was missed 5,000 times.

Stupid Faraday dude lying and junk.

Hurry up and show me Jacob again.

Very good episode this week. I like that they're starting to narrow things down a bit and reveal how things end up the way they do. I also like that Christian Shepard is back! One of my favorite characters.

Highlights for those of you who missed it:

1. Jack & Kate are living together, raising Claire's baby, and engaged; but Kate is still in contact with Sawyer.
2. Hurley is "crazy" according to Jack, yet Jack is also seeing dead people himself (his Dad).
3. Jack undergoes an appendectomy on the island.
4. Claire is missing, and Sawyer has the baby in the jungle.

They never said Kate was still in contact with Sawyer, she said she had promised him something, and she was carrying out her promise.

Mallet: Sayid and Ben knew each other in 2005 because the place crashed in 2004. Why wouldn't they know each other?

Sounds like next week they're going to start bringing people back from the dead.

This whole show is without a doubt the most incredible story I've ever witnessed, nothing comes close. Possibly the most high-quality show ever made. The problem is, if you didn't start at the beginning, you're screwed, so I don't see how ratings could ever go up. But definitely worth following on dvd for newcomers.

Her name was Nadia...it was the girl he helped to escape from the Iraqi prison. It was also the girl in the picture he carried with him everywhere.

And yes...this season has been unbelievable...it now seems like everybody sees dead people now. How about Ben's dad (Roger Workman) coming back next week?

The guy that comes back next week is very familiar, I can't quite place him, but it's not Roger Workman. Remember, Ben's dad was uncle Rico from Napolean Dynamite, this dude is different. Although I do think that he's a Dharma guy.

You may be right...when I saw him Ben's dad was the first person that came to mind...was he the dude that brought Roger and Ben to the island?

only when it involves reincarnation.

It's a good thing that Kane show didn't last, Richard Alpert's character is crucial, and they almost lost him.
