Liberty University Director of Athletics Jeff Barber has announced that head women’s soccer coach James Price has resigned from his position. A national search for a new women’s soccer coach will begin immediately.

that sucks, but i had heard some rumblings. pricey is a good coach and im sure he will land on his feet. best wishes to him and his family!

Yea...that is to bad...I am not sure how many of you realize how bad the program was when he took over. If I recall correctly, the year before he took over, I believe the girls may have scored less than 5 goals...ALL YEAR!

He did a great job with the program and I wish him the best of luck in his endeavors.

This is disappointing news. But I echo the sentiments wishing him the best as he moves forward.

I guess this means we REALLY need to move on hiring a coach with the season just over four months away.

Four months to the start of the season when the change was made. Interesting timing...

Anybody have any word on what the '08 frosh are doing now? Also, they had gotten verbals from at least four in '09, really good ones, too. Anything out there on those?
