Has a decision been made yet as to whom will be the #2 QB in the fall?

My personal guess is Landis. As good as Brown has looked I really think Landis has looked just as equal to the task.

I thought Landis looked pretty good out there yesterday. I think we'll see a little more of him this year if he continues to perform that well during the regular season.

You're the only one that thinks that. He's obviously the #2 quarterback behind Brock. Now, could Mike Brown come in for some wrinkle plays like Zach did lining up at QB? Probably. But if something happens to Brock and we need a starter, as of right now, Spencer Landis is that person.

Brilliance just seems to fly off your fingertips and on to flamefans. He was 5 of 6 for almost 100 and a touchdown and had a 51 yard run. I think he proved that he is a legitimate QB.

If Landis sees more action than Brown it will be either very good (mopup duty in blowout wins) or very bad (because Brock is hurt or playing poorly, or we are losing big). Brown on the other hand is likely to have a package of plays designed to utilize his mobility, and may see some spot action even in close games to give opponenents a different look. Landis is the #2 man, but Brown could end up playing more.

yeah, I was thinking that if Brock gets hurt, Landis is our man. But if we're talking about clean up duty, you've got to send in Brown to get some experience, if he's the future.

Who are our 2nd string safeties? I was too busy paying attention to the offense and front 7 that I forgot to see who was backing up Rocco and Grieser.

Larry Claiborne and Chuck Duffey. Both of those guys did alright (Duffey actually had a pick during the game)
Coaching changes

It appears your intel was on the mark.
