A brokered convention is also a way to determine a candidate that everyone can more or less agree on. There could be half-a-dozen or more roll call votes along the way, before someone who is NOT necessarily a candidate right now gains the nomination.

I think Edwards has some votes, along with a few other guys. Regardless, there is a good chance that one Obama may fall just short. Especially if Hillary has a few good weeks. She really can't realistically catch him, but she can force a brokered convention.

This will be fun to watch!!
