The acc complex that people have around here is seriously almost as dillusional as liberalism.

The one person that said Carolina got hosed was a Duke fan. The Carolina fans were ok with what they got.

Id venture to say UNC has the easiest road to the Elite 8, but being the 1 seed that makes sense

Hype up IU all you want, but since Sampson left theyre 3-3 with close wins over Northwestern, Ohio State, and a 29 point loss to Mich State. They look like they dont care and show no fight in them whatsoever.

If there is a team that could knock off UNC before they get to Charlotte, its Arkansas, who beat Tennessee just a couple days ago. But that wont happen because UNC has homecourt through out the first 3 rounds.

Also Duke has a cakewalk to the 8 too. I mean they have to shoot well in every game, but outside of Xavier there is no chance of anyone beating Duke. Duke can beat themselves, but not the other way around.

The overall number 1 seed should not have the possibility of facing Indiana in the second round, not to mention the Possibility of Louisville and Tenn. down the road. They got HOSED!
Oh, please. Indiana's nothing special and they won't be playing anywhere outside of the state of North Carolina until the Final Four. They'll have a home court advantage for the first four rounds and won't face a serious contender until the round of 8. The committee practially paved the road for them.
I disagree with the part about paving the road, but I'm not complaining. Carolina basically had two choices: an easy road somewhere else or a harder road at home. The committee gave them a tough road at home. It is what it is. Indiana, Tennessee, and Kansas are all teams that are either a) very good already or b) potentially very good. Oh well. If they're really the best team in the country, they'll win these games. If they win the championship having knocked off those teams, they'll have something to hang their hat on.
Tennessee is a 2 seed, they should be good. Kansas doesnt meet them till the final 4, but KU wont be there because my dad picked them to the final four (3 or 4 times theyve lost early whenn my dad did that, he never learns). IU is garbage.

This is a really tough year to pick the final 4. I think the top four teams significanlty better than the rest of the field. Since all 4 No. 1's have never made it to the final 4, I am taking UNC, UCLA and Kansas. I do have Memphis losing, but it would not suprise me if they made the final four and one of the others did not. I just see the Memphis bracket as having the best chance for an upset. I just don't see UNC losing, barring an injury. My sleeper team, if you can call them that, is Georgia. I think they will ride their momentum through several games, possibly the elite eight.

I'm gonna go with Coppin State tonight over MSM.

The ghost of Mr. Fang will topple the ghost of the Mr. bow-tie.

As far as winning the whole thing goes---my top three are: North Carolina, Georgetown, and UCLA.

georgetown is veyr overrated. if they fall in love with the three like they are more than capable of doing, they could go out early. it was one of the biggest reasons why they lost to pitt. hibbert proved nearly everytime he got the ball that no one on pitt could guard him, but what did gtown do? not get him the freaking ball on tons of possessions.

I really haven't been all that impressed with Davidson. Granted, they are good, but I don't think they are like one of Gonzaga's better teams in year's past. I could see them winning one, but that's it. I think Stephen Curry is overrated by the talking heads.

Drake, on the other hand, is really good.

While the MVC is a good league, and Drake won it, Drake beat nobody OOC this year and the league itself was down. They're just getting the benefit of the doubt and the usual mid-major overhype. They could make some noise. Or they could lose to WKU.

The league may be down but I was impressed after watching them play. I didn't see the league championship but I think they beat Illinois state, a buble team, by 30.

Davidson can beat Gonzaga, but they just don't have the size to combat G'Town in the second round. As much as I'd like to see it, they're not beating G'Town...

Texas has the best point guard in the country. They beat Memphis to get to the Final 4...

A WVU-Duke game in the second round, imo, is a toss-up. I went with my head though and picked Duke. Xavier takes them out in the next round...

Marquette's scrappiness and toughness gets them to the sweet 16 after an upset of Stanford in the second round...

Western Kentucky, Temple, St. Mary's, Kent State, St. Joseph's, and Arkansas are my other first round upsets...

Kansas is my pick to win it all. They're the most balanaced team out there..

And finally, the Maryland women played 25 games against the RPI top 100 this year, and won 22 of them. With Frese back, they're my pick to win it all on the women's side.

Thanks all, have a great day...
