I hope we don't get in the 8-9 game though because then you have to play a 1 seed next. 1 and 2 seeds on the women's side are 100 times better than everyone else so it wouldn't be fun. a 10 seed would be cool.

I'm with you SCAR. 10-12 seed puts us up against a 5, 6 or 7. Any of those are winnable, and you don't have to go up against a powerhouse if you advance to the second round. It's gunna be tough though with both Moriah and Rebecca out.

Amazing game! The officiating was absolutely horrible. I was actualy suprised the travel / foul at the end wasn't simply a "no call". They blew about every other call in the game. I don't think either team ever got a feel for what was being called. There really wasn't any consistency from the crew and that caused major problems with the flow of the game. On the positive side Radford came out and played the type of tough, physical game that gives Liberty a few issues. Liberty proved why they deserve to be champions. Not only can they blow you out by forty ... they can come from behind and beat you. Not bad for a team that has lost two starters over the past couple of weeks.

Without Moriah and Rebecca, I think we should hope for the highest seed possible to give us the best chance to get one win. Without those 2 girls, I don't think it's possible for us to get to the sweet 16. I'll be estatic with one win, so I'll be happy with the highest seed we get even if that is 8/9

Oh man, I recorded the game and I just finished watching it. I didn't know who won yet, but man, I was shaking! That was an awesome ending! I wish it hadn't come down to that but WOW, I'm happy now and I can go to sleep without being depressed now. All right I'm done with my adrenaline fueled rambling!

i just got back from UNCA and WOW is all i have to say about the game. there was a lot of emotion by both teams on the court and megan finishing that shot in the paint sent the LU fans into a frenzy including my self.

Let's hear it for the band too (Sweet 16)!! They were fantastic. They took the place of the LUnatics. I liked it when they "chanted" airball to #44(?) Maier from High Point (Freshman of the Year). They must've flustered her because she couldn't buy a basket that whole night and she didnt' make any of her 3 pointers (and I believe they said she attempted 10 of them). Hats off to the Sweet 16 band!!! Love ya guys!!

i rewinded that final play several times and it just looks the like the radford girl tripped. matt hogue and brooke weisbrod thought it was a foul. the ladies just really grinded it out! congrats on getting our trophy back!

i think that matt hogue doesn't know what he is talking about the majority of the time. Every year i have to listen to him broadcast TV the Big South. I know he works for them (Big South) in some regards concerning TV. He IMO is very annoying to listen to on TV

BabyMedic got to watch his first ladies' game last nite as we managed to catch the last 6 minutes!

nearly threw up multiple times- and was ASTOUNDED that Coach brought the girls back from that deficit with only 3 to play.

no way to describe that last bucket by Frazee unless you saw it. She backed in and if I recall correctly- completely had her back to the basket when she threw up that absolute prayer of a shot.
