I would say that's the whole point...

The sentiment is anything from the RD camp says is wrong, when really, he was right. We ended very cold and had poor attendance, and we lost fans. It's a fact, look at the numbers. Senior Night had poor attendance. Kenny George game bumped up attendance. It's not a huge improvement.

What's your Point, JDUB?

The attendance was huge against Asheville to see him. It was hyped all week. The town knew about it. What was the attendance for Asheville at home last year?

You call your posts meaningful?

Try to actually make a point once. My answer to that is yes, how do you come back from that?

With a new coach, shouldnt attendance automatically rise? Serious question.
Also, remember before the WU loss, we hadnt lost a big event(mbb wbb fb) at home in almost a year. I can see people overreacting to losing at home when it hasnt happened in a while.

my point is that you can't say reduce the attendence this year b/c people were here to see KG. if you do that go ahead and reduce it last year cause there were people here to see him then too

Quit it guys.

KG was here last year too, and everybody came out to see the big guy, so JDUB is correct

I think most people came out last year to see Sparky.

Were they? I wasn't here, I don't know...

Looked it up: 2116

People didn't show up to see KG, it was just a regular old game. Everyone knew he wouldn't play, he was too out of shape...not conditioned. He wasn't on ESPN, he wasn't all over the internet as a big deal.

He played 15 minutes and they announced it at convo plenty of times. The people there were there to see the big boy (KG).

your definition of poor is pretty twisted. what are you expecting a full house every night or something? would that not be considered poor attendance to you? I think your expectations of the attendance is pretty much out in left field. i thought the attendance was good for the RaTurd game.

Was he on ESPN?

Was he the big story?

Was he the leading blocker in the nation?

:clapping

I still think its sad. We averaged 3600, which is obviously the infallible number. We were under that for SENIOR NIGHT. What could have been the LAST home game of the season, and last home game for Fan Favorite BIG Russ.

The attendance was sad, considering that.

The clap was for the good post. Yes. I am pleased, and thankful. I know you know your stuff, you just don't always show it.

Does it matter why they were here? The point of the matter is we're drawing 1100 more this year than last year. If you take out the high game from this year, you have to take out the high game from last year because it was a double header and people could see two games in front of one. Your logic on taking out the Asheville game is completely flawed. It doesn't matter why people show up, just that they do show up. You're a sport management major, you should know that. That's the basics right there.

Correction--Tim Layer would have never played for RD. :nono
