Also, just an update. Mike underwent surgery Weds. to remove the pin that went through his fibula and tibia, (even though he snapped it in two a couple of weeks ago). They removed the half of the pin that wasn't embedded in the big bone, leaving the other hardware. He might have a little delay through the airport. He is on schedule for spring ball coming up. Xrays show everything where it should be. Cudos to Dr. Prahinski and the rest of the LU med staff. He has gone through the whole winter workouts on one leg, including basic training, plus tons of rehab with Chris Cassola, ie lifting and running in the pools at the FOC. We are looking forward to spring football, the drought of Feb. is killing me.

By the way, I do need some help before the YState game tailgate. I need direction on how to get two things: 1) Does anyone know where to get some good local, Lynchburg area, BBQ sauce and have a certain Flames parent bring it back? (2) How do we buy a CD of the Liberty band to offset our decidedly Midwest selection for our LU friends who make the trip ? I apologize, but if there are SEC fight songs on it I'm not interested. I can answer the second one. I have a copy of the CD the band made in 2006 and I could probably talk to Dr Kerr about any extra copies of the band CD from 07.

Stop by the BBQ/Tailgate at the YState game next season. Grab some ribs and say hello. Just look for the red Block "O" flag, 4 grills, two tables of food, no idea how many coolers, tents, about 50 people, OSU or ND marching bands on the stereo, two or three Liberty flags and a bunch of kids with "07 Big South Champs" shirts running around.

I think this guy could teach us something about tailgaiting.
